Cats and other animals normally communicate through what humans call ESP - 'extra sensory perception'. We all communicate through 3 modes of communications:- 1) Visual (through pictures). Humans are very visual  2) Emotional (emotions and feelings) 3) Kinesthetic (sensory impressions). Cats are kinesthetic as they are very sensual animals and tend to be very focused on odours, flavours and textures.
