Suggestions and Recommendations
- Remove your cat's food bowl as soon as it has eaten - preferably within 45 minutes of kitty having its meal and soak or rinse the bowl with water so as to remove the odour of food. Food smells trigger the cats brain to prepare the body for digestion, the waste and metabolism process is slowed. Wastes and toxins build up and back up and the kidneys and intestines are unable to handle large amounts of wastes, hence the wastes are rerouted through secondary organs of excretion such as the lungs as carbon dioxide and through the pores of the skin as grease and dandruff.
- Have you cat checked over with your Veterinarian for any illness with kidneys, liver, thyroid and intestines.
- Feed you kitty a high-quality diet and eliminate impurities in their diet that contain commercial chemicals and by-products. A raw diet with added supplements and vitamins is a great choice.
- add 1/8 teaspoon of lecithin to each meal which helps dispose of fatty wastes and same with bran as this aids the intestines. Physillium Husks and additional water added to their food can to assist with waste regularity.
- Encourage energetic play before their two meals a day this will help speed the metabolic process which then facilitates the normal waste disposal process of your kitty.
